This amadinda (xylophone) is a good opportunity for children who seek auditory, proprioceptive, and vestibular input. The keys are placed on an angle to assist in motor planning when playing the instrument. Children have the opportunity to cross at the mid-line, and the amadinda is big enough that one to four children can play the instrument at the same time, allowing for parallel, joint, and/or cooperative play.
